Joel Meyerowitz has been shooting in colour since 1962. In the 1960s and ’70s he was one of the most important photographers of the New Color movement. This book brings together work from his early street photography to his Cape Cod light experiments and Ground Zero photographs, as well as early, unpublished black and white work. Meyerowitz’s photography focuses on the unpredictability of a moment in time, of serendipity and unexpected coincidence.
